Founded in May 1999, Western Reliance Funding Group is a privately held independent mortgage lending firm. We are different from most independent firms because we are a full service mortgage banker and direct lender. So, not only do we provide loan origination and processing, we also have in-house underwriting and the ability to funds loans directly through our warehouse credit line. We aren’t just a “broker” who is packaging a loan and interfacing with the actual lender on the borrower’s behalf. We manage the entire loan process from submission to appraisal to funding. Only after your loan is funded and recorded do we actually transfer it to the ultimate loan servicer. This enables the borrower to have more options while working directly with the decision-making entity.
